Mark Hot and Cold on Faucets

Not being able to see the faucet markings or remember which faucet is hot and which is cold can make it hard to set the proper water temperature. This can expose you to being scalded. Mark hot and cold faucets with large, bright dots of color using either nail polish or tape. Most faucets should be marked with blue for cold and red for hot.
